Game Pieces
The Game Pieces guide the rhythm of the match, pushing teams to balance speed, precision, and teamwork. Each piece has its own size and difficulty, so robots must be strong enough to handle them while staying light and quick. The presence of both usable and broken pieces adds tension, as robots must tell what can score and what needs repair. With pieces spread across Engines, Repair Stations, and the field at the start of each Heat, teams must adapt on the fly, working in sync with their partner robot to collect, fix, and score efficiently.
Engines
Teams score points by putting their colored pieces into any of the six Engines on the field. As shown in the pictures, you earn 50 points for one piece, 100 for two, and 250 points for filling all three slots in a single Engine.
Repair Stations
Teams use their three colored Repair Stations to remove broken Red pieces. As shown in the images, you earn 30 points for every piece you swap into your team's matching station.
Spare Parts Zone
Think of your Spare Parts Zone as a frosty treasure chest where every piece you tuck away earns your team 40 points. Gathering the most pieces adds a 40% bonus to your score.
Building the tallest stack adds another 60% bonus to your score.
Since these bonuses are additive, a skilled team can combine them to earn a massive 100% boost to their total heat score. You can add or remove pieces anytime during the match, but you must stay within your own boundaries.
